Graphic Creation Workshops (19/05/2008)

Cartagena City Council and Ediciones Bartlett School of Architecture have been organized by the People's University of Cartagena and Murcia Graphic Arts Center and the Contemporary Print graphic design two workshops taking place during the month of August in the port city.

The first, 'color intaglio engraving.

Soft varnish techniques' will be held from 18 to 22 August in the morning and afternoon from Monday to Wednesday, and tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.

This workshop will consist of a total of 35 hours and will be taught by Pavel Bulgarian Albert, whose work has been exhibited in galleries in countries around the world.

The second workshop will be to 'Lithograph on aluminum plates.

Straightforward procedure and photographic process', 25 to 29 August, taught by Narciso Echevarría Cuenca, one of the first artists who used polymer flexographic plates in Spain.

The workshop will last for 35 hours and will be in morning and afternoon from Monday to Wednesday, and tomorrow, Thursday and Friday.

The workshops are aimed at artists, art students, students of schools and workshops in painting, drawing, photography ...

and in general, and people started wanting to develop their expressive and creative side.

Each workshop will not exceed half of the students, because their development is fundamentally practical.

The venue is the Palazzo Molina.

Given the dates of the workshops, participants can use their stay to enjoy the benefits and Cartagena's tourist district.

To this end, the organization can provide low cost accommodation, following an agreement reached with hotels near the venue of the workshops.
