ACUDE presented to the City Council your sustainable participatory management of the territory (10/02/2016)

Representatives of the entity were received Wednesday by Deputy Mayor and Councillor for Tourism, who will study an agreement to join the network of areas for biodiversity, genetic diversity and landscape in rural areas

Deputy Mayor, Ana Belén Castejon, along with the Councillor for Tourism, Obdulia Gómez, today received Wednesday at the Palace Hall to ACUDE secretary of the Association for Land Stewardship and Sustainable Development, Juan Luis Castanedo, who has come to present the organization and its goals.

ACUDE, private association of state level and non-profit, was created to help owners of rural properties with environmental and landscape values ​​they wanted to improve sustainable land management by fostering the creation of a network of areas for biodiversity, genetic diversity and landscape, which can be accessed through the signing of an agreement.

This agreement has already been signed by other municipalities in the region, such as Alhama and Abanilla, and has now submitted a proposal to the City of Cartagena, which will study this project, whereby ACUDE help ensure proper sustainable management of farms in rural areas.

Through these agreements, open to improvements, the association offers various services for free, such as counseling, administrative procedures, seeking grants or learning techniques and knowledge management environment.
