Sixteen singers reach the semifinals of the National Competition III Saetas (18/01/2016)

The Association of Portapasos of Mercy and Marraja Brotherhood, in collaboration with the City of Cartagena, the Ministry of Culture, the UCAM and the Association Nuestro Padre Jesus Nazareno, have organized a year the National Competition Saetas where it is already its third edition.

It will be this Friday 22 and Saturday 23 when the semifinals are held after the jury has selected sixteen singers from different parts of Spain.

The planned schedule is as follows:

Saturday 23

Pepi Blankets (Córdoba)

Iranzo Sebastian Navas (Málaga)

Jesus Perez Moreno (San Fernando)

Prior Elisabeth Bolivar (Sevilla)

José Romero Perez (Jerez)

Maria del Rocio Garcia Serrano (Sevilla)

The event is scheduled to begin both days at 21.00, with free admission until all seats in the House of Folklore Folk Group City of Cartagena in La Palma.

The final will be held on March 5 in the church of Santa María de Gracia, and features competition among stresses that the winner receives an original sculpture created for the occasion, the renowned sculptor Fernando Saenz Elorrieta Cartagena.
