The Promotional Concert Series of the XIX edition of the contest between strings and brass lived on Tuesday afternoon, his first musical stop at the Conservatory of Music of Murcia.

The winning soloists, accompanied by the Chamber Orchestra of Cartagena, excelled with the audience at the Auditorio de Murcia, showing a single in each of their performances professionalism.

He is currently in 3rd of EEPP Cello at the Conservatory of Lorca, with awards such as the First Prize of the II Region Contest Velez, First Prize at the IV Competition Young Artists Villa de Molina, besides getting a music scholarship Iberpiano in May 2015.

The first part will end with a performance by the winner in the category of guitar, Thomas Joseph Garcia Vazquez, playing a work by Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco. Thomas Joseph, who is a native of Sewer and is currently studying 1st course Guitar at the Madrid Royal Conservatory.

The second part of the concert will begin with the premiere in Cartagena of the work composed by Matthew Soto, the marimba with Francisco Tortosa Sancho, ending with the saxophonist Conservatory of Jumilla, Felicia Gomez Escudero who plays Fantasy for Saxophone Heitor Villa Lobos.

Andres Perez Barnabas, who has extensive experience in the field of management, has been invited to take the baton of the Cartagena Chamber Orchestra in this concert series Promotional working with the winners of the contest between strings and brass, resulting for each of them a unique experience in which they have had the opportunity to perform as soloists with a professional orchestra.
