Deputy Mayor of Cartagena, Ana Belen Castejon, open Tuesday November 10 working hours to continue until Wednesday 11 and provide a framework for Diversity Project Final Conference on the Economy and Local Integration (DELI), financed by the Fund European Integration and led by the Council of Europe, which together involved ten cities, which are Bucharest, Cartagena, Getxo, Dublin, Munich, Lisbon, London-Lewisham, Reggio Emilia, Rotterdam and Vienna.
The project started in December 2013 and ended in June this year and has enabled the participating cities and learn to value the contribution of migrants into the local economy.
In Cartagena, it has developed from the Agency of Local Development and Employment and the Department of Social Services and Social Mediation, in collaboration with other municipal departments.
The objective of the final conference, entitled New paths towards integration, and labor is the conclusions and establish lines and good practice guidelines from facing the DELI II.
The mothers attend project managers in the various participating cities as well as the Head of Democratic Initiatives of the Council of Europe, Eladio Fernandez Galliano, different managers of the Migration Policy Group, and general manager of Participation, European Union and Foreign Action Murcia, Manuel Alonso Pleguezuelo.
The two working sessions will be held at the headquarters of A ld Club Regatta Cartagena Port Authority.
This conference provides the City the opportunity to continue participation in European projects developed to promote social integration and work in coordination with other cities and municipalities.
