The Councillor for Culture, David Martinez, and the Councillor for Tourism, Obdulia Gomez, attended yesterday the opening of the exhibition of painting and photography HEREDITAS.
Wind bequeathed to Javier Lorente, which will be open for a month in the Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Business.
This set of works collected by the author captured snapshots and different approaches to buildings of traditional architecture of the whole region of Cartagena as mining houses or flour mills.
The activity is part of the National Congress of Ethnography of the Campo de Cartagena held from 22 to 24 October in the CIM building.
Both the mayor of Culture and Tourism Councillor stressed the importance of conservation and enhancement of these constructions as valuable tools in our history transmission scenarios and how the lifestyles of our ancestors who are asked to endure in value and time, in addition to being visitable and become part of tourist routes through the region.
