Local police have registered so far this year, some thirty interventions in collaboration with the Shelter for Domestic Animals of the City of Cartagena, CATAD related to municipal regulations on pets.
Bites, stray dogs, injured animals, abuses or intervention with dangerous dogs are some of the frequent performances of this collaboration.
So, last Tuesday, the police unit stationed in El Algar, recovered a dog that was lost and was bothering passers-by finally giving the owner of the animal.
Local police reminded that it is mandatory that the dogs go through the corresponding microchip identified, made â€‹â€‹to be included in the animal health card.
Otherwise, it would be a minor offense with a fine of up to 300 euros.
