The Local Police of Cartagena, through the unity of the District of El Algar, collaborated on Thursday afternoon with an animal protection in the rescue of a young vulture was lost and weak state in the place of The Mitre.

A member of the Center for Wildlife Recovery Valley, La Alberca (Murcia), was commissioned to capture the bird of prey, a copy of malnourished young children and they had difficulty enough to get airborne.

Apparently, the vulture, which barely offered resistance had been seen for days for the Los Nietos, Los Urrutias, El Algar and nearby.

Once rescued, the specimen was transferred to the protective facilities for thorough reconnaissance and recovery treatment.
