Cartagena celebrates the International Day of Older People (01/10/2015)

Throughout the day today different acts in which collaborates the Department of Social Services are held.

This evening will culminate with the reading of a manifesto, at 5 pm at the door of the Town Hall

The Department of Social Services is working with the program of events developed during the day today with the International Day of Older Persons is celebrated, programming will occupy the whole day.

This morning, the mayor delegated of Social Services, Carmen Martin, has received thirty Hiking Program participants Major at the Palace Hall, where they have done a tour before continuing its route to Cala Cortina and Trincabotijas.

Later, the Councillor has visited two major that marks the centenary in 2015 and may not move the tribute this evening will be at the Cultural Hall of Caja Mediterráneo.

This afternoon, at 17.00, will be reading the manifesto for the International Day of Older Persons, which will involve the president of the Federation of Older Persons and District of Cartagena, Maria Beteta, in addition to the mayor, Jose Lopez and Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon. The event will also attend

the Councillor for Social Services, Carmen Martin.

The event will take place at the gates of the Town Hall.

Later, at 17.30, it will be held a tribute to the elderly that marks the centenary in 2015, as well as those who work in the Chest Experience program the Department of Social Services.

It will be at the Cultural Hall of Caja Mediterráneo Foundation.

To end the day, the older group Marfagones Mills, represent a small play.
