About twenty activities permit the holding of the European Mobility Week (14/09/2015)

Cartagena adds to the celebration of the European Mobility Week, which seeks to promote the reduction of car use and travel by bike or on foot to prevent pollution and improve the health of Cartagena. The collective MoviliCT your health helps organize these activities that celebrate the European Car Free Day on Sunday 20 September.

Lots of activities in the center of Cartagena star in the day on Sunday that promotes mobility to improve the quality of life of the city of Cartagena.

The program was presented at a press conference, which was attended by the Councillor of Greater Sports, Ricardo Segado, and José Ángel Vivancos, coordinator of the collective MoviliCT.

On Friday September 18 will be held a talk All Out: Reflections and experiences to recover the urban vitality of the hand of girls and children on you, by Marta Roman, urban geographer, expert on issues of city children and mobility .

MoviliCT coordinator also explained that the government has proposed one Sunday a month to cut traffic and the council has answered that indeed mean being studied and should raise awareness.
