The Roman Theatre in Cartagena and its museum closes a historic summer in two months to receive about 43,000 visitors (03/09/2015)

These figures are mainly due to the increase in the number of foreign visitors.

Throughout the summer period 89 percent of the visits have been an individual basis, while the rest have been conducted in groups, the latter more than half were treated to visits by travel agents and groups of foreigners from cruises.

In terms of origin, 38 percent are domestic visitors, of which 25 percent are of Madrid, of Valencia (24 percent), Andalucía (10 percent) and Catalonia (6 percent).
