Two arrested for filing false complaints Police (19/08/2015)

The National Police reported that such false allegations may constitute a crime of simulation of crime and fraud in some cases.

Such offenses are punishable by a fine of six to nine months.

The National Police has conducted two simulations arrests for crime committed during the month.

These actions have led to the detention of people who have made such claims, which in most cases were intended to create an administrative document as a basis for fraudulent claims to insurance companies.

The simulation of crime is covered by the Spanish Penal Code as a crime against the administration of justice, the commission carries a fine of six to twelve months, along with the generation of a criminal record.

In many cases, these simulations are intended to claim to insurance companies, is also criminal action, although in the second act, the applicable criminal offense would be missing or swindle, depending on the amount defrauded.

Casuistry is diverse, although in most cases is to report a violent robbery where there was a theft or a simple loss of effects.

Thus, we have clarified the nonexistent theft of a mobile phone stolen by a violent jerk, when in fact the complainant wanted to hide her terminal was caught neglect the place where you left forgotten later pretending receivable from the insurer the full amount the phone bill or simulation by another citizen denouncing the theft of your vehicle when it actually happened was that the car was repossessed and this individual sells some foreign nationals without informing the commercial lien owned and thus avoiding delivery to the bank.

This type of fraud allegations are an important distraction of police, who have to devote to investigate alleged robbery or other violent offenses, usually serious, never took place, along with a scam insurance companies.

Once crowded submitted to the judicial authority may involve the practice of other equally useless errands for the lack of veracity of the facts.

It is for this reason that it believes that such actions undermine the proper use and operation of the mechanisms that the administration of justice, and security forces and made available to the public.
