Local Police Cartagena welcomes the

Campaign result of monitoring and control of speed held from 20 to 26 July in collaboration with the Directorate General of Traffic, and that has developed around the municipality.

A total of 4249 vehicles have been controlled in this special campaign traffic, where 104 have been reported to exceed the established limits.

The figures show that t he drivers were concerned in road safety, as has been reported only 2.45 percent of all vehicles checked.

The aim of these controls is precisely drivers that go at the wrong speed, braking distance increases and decreases reaction time, being the cause of numerous accidents awareness.
