The Fire Fighting Service of the City of Cartagena has extinguished this morning by the fire that started around 8 pm yesterday in the natural setting of Lo Poyo and in which about 8 and a half hectares of reeds were burned, in the area near the road linking with Los Urrutias Los Nietos area.
According to sources of the Fire Department, the fire was controlled about 22.30 at night, remaining a catch fire and forest service personnel, reviewing the affected area.
In the work of extinguishing the fire were also effective Fire Cartagena and the Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue Region of Murcia, voluntanrios Civil Protection, Local Police, Civil Guard, environmental agents and forest brigades participated from various parts of the Region.
