The Mayor, Deputy Mayor, Councillor of Greater decentralization and the mayor's office of Transparency Portal and have met with the association to address issues such as citizen participation, decentralization and economic development
The Local Authority Association of La Palma has been received by the mayor, Jose Lopez, Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon, Councillor of Greater decentralization, Juan Pedro Torralba and the delegate mayor of the Portal and Transparency Office, José María Soler, where they held a first making contact very cordial and relaxed and have addressed issues of importance not only for La Palma but for the town.
The meeting was an institutional presentation and character as an association to new government team that occupies the city of Cartagena.
During the meeting, President of the Bank Association Local La Palma, Gines Gonzalez explained that the focus of the conversation was decentralization.
Citizen participation, decentralization of the town and economic development were the issues that have emerged as the backbone conversation some proposals expressed during the meeting.
Decentralization has led the Association to present some projects that include decentralization throughout the municipality and not only in La Palma, according to Gomez Gines.
The president also mentioned the illusion that exists in the Association for thinking that soon there will be a third ballot, where we will allow districts and councils elect our representatives democratically.
