Born in Arica (Chile), Manuel Garcia is one of the most followed by the artists, whose original style mixes poetry with rock, pop and folklore Chilean public.

He has won numerous awards throughout his career and, in 2010, was a semifinalist of 'Donatella Flick Conducting Competition' organized by the London Symphony Orchestra.
