The local governing board met on Friday under the chairmanship of the mayor, to corroborate the proposed grants to associations and citizens' organizations, whose expenditure authorization had already been approved by the previous council budgets this year.
The COEC, neighborhood associations, party committees, Sport Organizations, Social Action Entities, Institutes of Social Education and Vocational Training Centres are among the beneficiaries of municipal aid.
In this regard, the councilor for the Treasury and Interior, Francisco Aznar, stressed that they will revise the criteria by which municipal subsidies ahead of next year's budgets are granted in order to promote a fair share thereof.
