The Navy celebrates the day of the Virgen del Carmen in Cartagena (16/07/2015)

The Navy has commemorated today the feast of its patron saint, the Virgen del Carmen, with different events organized at the Military Arsenal.

The ceremony was attended by the mayor, Jose Lopez, Deputy Mayor, Ana Belen Castejon and councilors of the government team.

The ceremony was also attended by other civil authorities as the president of the Regional Assembly, Rosa Peñalver, and military authorities.

The ceremony was presided by the Head of Arsenal, Vice Admiral Fernando Zumalacárregui.

In Cartagena, the acts have taken place in the Military Arsenal.

First it was held a Mass and then has performed a tribute to those who gave their lives for Spain.
