The festival The Sea of Music, brings in its section of Art Territories and stock exposure, by Magdalena Correa, a Chilean artist who will be on Wednesday July 15 at the press pass presentation of the exhibition, to be held at 12, 30 hours in the building of the former CIM, now Faculty of Business.
Also attended by the Councillor for Culture, Education and Equality, David Martinez.
The project brings to Cartagena Magdalena Correa deals Gobi desert in China and Mongolia and the Atacama in northern Chile.
The exhibition, which will run until August 31, establishes a counterpoint between different geographical areas where residents face similarly, the rigors of nature and climate.
AN ARTIST POLIFACÃ ‰ TICA
Magdalena Correa (Santiago de Chile, 1968) graduated in Fine Arts with a major in printmaking from the Catholic University of Chile and Doctor in photography and video from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia.
He has been a member of the Line of Research Applications for Audiovisual and Multimedia Systems Engineering Department of the Polytechnic University of Catalonia, Barcelona.
He specializes in photographic research projects and videos on isolated and unknown territories.
