The Polytechnic University of Cartagena offers master's and doctoral students in Iraqi Kurdistan (07/07/2015)

The rector of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) and the Vice Chancellor for Internationalisation, Jose Antonio Franco and Jose Manuel Ferrandez, have delivered this morning certificates to Indian students who have completed a stay of theoretical and practical training at the School of architecture and building, as well as representatives of the various mobility programs promoting UPCT.

Cartagena Polytechnic is the first Spanish public university established permanent mobility agreements with academic recognition for Indian students.

During this course the deal has materialized with the arrival of 15 students of architecture for a stay that has combined theoretical training and work experience in companies.

The next year the training in English for students of the Asian country with an MBA (Master of Business Administration) and a Master in Telecommunications Engineering expands.

"Proof of the quality of the mobility programs made was the grant and approval of the Erasmus + program ten scholarships of mobility with the additional India, amounting to 22,000 euros", stressed the Vice Chancellor for Internationalisation Internationalisation and Cooperation Development, Jose Manuel Ferrandez.

UPCT recalled during the ceremony internationalization achieved other milestones in the course, the INPS-CMN program through which the Campus of Excellence Mare Nostrum has secured funding from the Istituto Nazionale della Previdenza Sociale Italian for students to take 70 different Master programs ( 33 of them are currently studying in the UPCT).

And also it announced another outstanding projects working UPCT to provide Masters and PhD programs for students in Iraqi Kurdistan.

"In the field of international cooperation, it highlighted the development of a series of Seminars on Research Methodology for Moroccan Polytechnic students, who are already being taught and who have received a special mention from the Foreign Ministry as an example of good practice" Ferrández explains.

The Vice President for International Relations and Development Cooperation integrates European Projects Office (OPECT), the Office of International Relations, Development Cooperation and Language Services.

Also coordinates the activities of the Campus of International Excellence Mare Nostrum.

The campus of international excellence CMN received the highest rating, ranking as one of the top 11 among the 27 existing, articulating identity federation between the two public universities, the use of common services, such as European Projects Office, providing CMN ELDI spaces in the building, and initiating the steps to formalize the legal structure CMN jointly with the University of Murcia.
