During safe techniques, personal protection and first aid police intervention, conducted in three editions by the School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena and directed to the Port Police, it was closed Tuesday with the ceremony of diplomas held in the Port Authority and chaired by the head of the organization, Antonio Sevilla, and the Councillor for Portal and Transparency Office, José María Soler, along with the director of the ESPAC, Antonio Garcia.
In total, 41 officers have updated their knowledge on basic concepts of security;
identification, frisking and handcuffing people;
arrests and searches of vehicles;
use of the defibrillator and cardiopulmonary resuscitation practices;
and first aid guide.
Are thus covered the objectives of this training, summarized primarily one, it is that the agents of the port police to perform their work safely.
All three editions of this course were held between February and last March.
