Students at the Polytechnic of Cartagena will practice in the aerospace company Crisa (03/07/2015)

Crisa Aerospace Company, a subsidiary of Airbus group and leader in electronic equipment for space, has signed on Friday an agreement with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena to UPCT students can do internships in the company premises.

Crisa, which is in orbit hundreds of their electronic units, is interested in that young graduates in Telecommunications Engineering and Industrial and Business Science from joining your staff through a period of practical training.

"We especially like the profile of students who form the UPCT" said Fernando Del Rey, CEO of Crisa.

"This new agreement reflects that more and more companies are becoming interested in engineering graduates from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena," the rector after signing the agreement.

"And it strengthens our relationship with the space industry, in which thousands of people in Spain work," said Jose Antonio Franco.

Crisa is already working, through seminars and visits to its facilities in Madrid, with the Master of Telecommunications Engineering Teaching UPCT.

And participates together with researchers from the Polytechnic University of Cartagena in the Euclid satellite for the European Space Agency.

Rafael Toledo, responsible for this project and secretary of the School of Telecommunications, stresses the importance of "a leader is interested in teaching in our university and our students."
