UPCT and AGA together international experts on Cyber ​​Intelligence and measures against jihadist terrorism (26/06/2015)

Armed drones and special operations forces against al Qaeda, the role of social networks and the Internet, management of savagery are some of the issues that international experts will present the course "Cyber ​​Intelligence and measures against Jihadist terrorism ', which will be held in General Air Academy next July.

The Vice Chancellor for Student and University Extension, Francisco Martinez, stressed that this training program, part of the summer courses at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT), about a society issue pointer.

Also highlighted the collaboration between different areas of the bodies and state security forces and academia.

Colonel Director General Air Academy, Juan Pablo Sanchez de Lara, stressed that this course is a successful formula to promote an enabling environment for the exchange of ideas.

Sanchez de Lara has also referred to the involvement between security, defense and public support.

"This course is held at the AGM by the roots in the Region of Murcia as a training center for future officers of the Air Force;

because here lies the University Center of Defense;

for good relations with the universities of the environment and especially with UPCT and the opportunity it represents to open our doors to the public.

For its part, the director of the University Center of Defense (CUD), Joaquín Roca Dorda, has highlighted the strengthening of collaboration between civil and military and announced that the CUD offers six scholarships of tuition for the course, which 80 seats are offered.

IDRC is a center attached to the UPCT.
