The mayor of Cartagena, Jose Lopez, held a meeting with President of ASTUS Joaquin Barbera meeting which has left it up a topic of special interest to the Association, the implementation of one in the morning of Tuesday of its most important projects, a new day center in the trough.

In this first formal visit of Jose Lopez Barbera, the issue that has focused attention, the most pressing us, is the new Day Centre, we already have the deed of transfer of the plot, which is municipal, and now we need City Council considers it as a personal project, giving impetus and facilitating procedures.
The new complex ASTUS (Guardianship Association of People with Disabilities) will serve 70 people in the Day Centre and also in some cases, may serve as a residence for members of the Association need.
It will be located on a triangular plot of 9,000 square meters, 60 percent buildable in the trough, where currently there is a health center.
