The PP does not cease in its willingness to dialogue to ensure the future of Cartagena (05/06/2015)

"The Popular Party shows its willingness to seek an agreement that will benefit the citizens of Cartagena and did not stop the growth of the municipality", as stated by the president of the PP in Cartagena, Francisco Celdrán.

Celdrán said that the Popular Party has been the most voted political force and out of respect for voters and citizens are working from day to reach agreements that guarantee a stable government.

In this sense, the Popular Party initiated a round of contacts with the PSOE, the second most voted, but after a brief meeting, the outright refusal of the Socialists precluded any rapprochement, "the unwillingness to talk to us shows the irresponsibility of a party that is more interested in ruling that the municipality's needs, "said the president of the PP.

On the other hand, he contacted Citizens Movement that before any negotiation imposed a minimal agreement, many of whom, out of reach of a local government.

"This game has been putting continuous obstacles to any possible understanding, which implies a lack of respect towards Cartagena, who have placed their trust mainly in the People's Party."

To Celdrán, "with all the covenants unwillingness of all parties that demonstrates the undemocratic attitude of all of them, whose only goal is to oust the Popular Party government is manifest".

President Francisco Celdrán stressed that the Popular Party is working and willing to dialogue and involvement with any political force and so will be until the last minute before the inauguration of Saturday June 13th.
