The Protocol course Detention and Stay of Detainees in the Security Park opened today Monday, June 1. It is organized by the ESPAC and within the P lan of Education of the City of Cartagena in 2015. It will be held on the premises School and lasts four hours of teaching.
The main objective is to study the regulations governing detention, to improve the protection of rights and security of the person arrested, incorporating controls and documented records of all actions, ensuring personal and legal security of those responsible for the arrests.
Among the contents is the transfer of detainees, adequacy of body searches, in police custody, preparation and processing of errands, food, etc.
It is aimed especially at managers and staff operating units of the local police in Cartagena template.
This course will be held several editions, the second will be on Wednesday 3 June and the third, on Friday 5 June.
Among the main subjects taught include study of the Criminal Code and the Criminal Procedure Law, Jurisprudence Diversa, Internal Rules on the arrest of National Police, Civil Guard, and other police Ertzaintza.
The course is taught by specialists in the subject being treated.
