120 local policemen of the region are updated rules of Traffic and Road Safety (18/05/2015)

Organized by the School of Education and Innovation of the Public Administration (EFIAP) in collaboration with the School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena (SPACE) has held a course on days 13, 15 and 18 May

This morning the Regulations Update Seminar is clausuraban Responsible for Traffic and Road Safety.

Major changes that have taken place during the 13th, 15th and today, May 18.

The sessions were organized by the EFIAP, within your training plan in collaboration with SPACE.

They have attended 120 local policemen of the Autonomous Community of Murcia and the objective to update knowledge in terms of traffic, in particular the changes introduced by the reform of the Traffic Act (Act 6/20014 of 7 April) and analyze the procedure penalties in reference to the administrative authorizations to circulate.

At the conference he was also attended by the Councillor for Public Safety of the City of Cartagena, Mariano García.

The speakers who have attended these days are Jeréz Cayuela Virginia, provincial traffic chief Angeles Murcia and F. Martinez Ripoll, Head of Administrative Service of the JPT Murcia.

During the conference it has been informed of the main changes that brings amendments to the Law on Traffic and Road Safety (in force since May 9, 2014).

The main objective of the reform is to adapt some of the content of the standard to the current reality, increasing the safety and security of all road users, especially the weakest and hard way sanctioning of dangerous behaviors.

The provincial head of Traffic, Virginia Jerez explained that the standard has varied modifications aimed at improving road safety for example emphasizing the mandatory use of helmets for children under 16, and other areas in which we approach closer to the European legislation such as the ability to communicate between different countries offenses, ie, can communicate the registration of a foreign car that has committed an infringement and thus start the procedure sanctioned r.

The reform also includes sanctions for those vehicles that incorporate radar detectors or inhibitors, and improving traffic load greater sanction is incorporated in areas such as driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol.

Some changes included in this law, rely on a subsequent regulatory development, so its entry into force is specified in the regulations that develop it.

The sessions were developed around the innovations introduced by Law 6/2004, of April 7, driving licenses or Community legislation updating and practical issues related to the disciplinary proceedings in administrative authorizations for driving.

Other aspects that has been said has been the driving license points or eGovernment, among others.

Francisco Saavedra, director of the EFIAC explained that the days are within an overall training plan of the Autonomous Community and trying to reduce the number of traffic accidents.

The idea is to have better trained staff and provide better service to society. This conference is a collaboration between the city of Cartagena, the ESPAC and us, looking for a cross-upgrade training materials.
