More than 60 researchers from universities around the world will attend from Monday to Applied Mathematics Congress in La Manga (08/05/2015)

More than 60 researchers from universities around the world cite the 11 to 15 May in La Manga in a Congress of Applied Mathematics, in which experts will be updated on the latest developments in the field of non-linearity and complexity.

The event, called 'International Conference on Nonlinear Dynamics and Complexity', was organized by the research group of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) in Dynamic Systems Applied to Engineering, led by Professor Juan Luis García Guirao.

Among the list of invited speakers include specialists like James A. Yorke, University of Maryland, in the United States, considered the father of chaos theory.

Jesus also participate Sanz-Serna, a top international experts in Hamiltonian systems.

The subject matter experts will relate their experiences in Hamiltonian systems used to study problems of nature.

Moreover, mathematical addressed various issues such as non-linear differential equations and their applications;

Nonlinear dynamics of problems arising from the engineer;

Discrete dynamical systems and control;

Synchronization and control of chaos;

Neuronal and brain dynamics;

Social dynamics and complexity;

Discrete and continuous dynamical systems and analysis of neural signals.

The latest edition of that congress was held in Jinan, China, in 2012.
