Best Martial Arts Teachers meet in Cartagena were given (07/05/2015)

The auditorium of the UPCT welcomed on Saturday the First Council of Teachers of Spain, attended by more than hundred people at this event where he was awarded the best and values ​​such as perseverance, overcoming and honor were recalled

Saturday May 2 was held in the auditorium of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena I Gala Council of Teachers of Martial Arts of Spain, an event that served as recognition of the Masters, Instructors and Students for their outstanding sporting career.

Many public attended the ceremony in which both the president of the Council, Alfonso Acosta, as Vice President, Manuel Asensio, stressed values ​​such as honesty, perseverance, dedication, wisdom, humility, self-improvement, respect, loyalty and honor.

Gala passed by the great masters of national and international reputation as Oh Won Seok, Kang Kil Chun Yu Yong Hap Victor Gutierrez and José Beltrán, among others, and was an emotional posthumous recognition for teachers Miguel Campos and Antonio Acosta Martinez .

Also recognized were fifteen instructors, including Fabian Navarro and Carmen Cuenca and fifteen students for values ​​reported.

Francisco Martin Martinez, Vice President for Student and University Extension of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena, opened the ceremony by welcoming the attendees. Alfonso Acosta Gil, President of the Council of Teachers of martial arts of Spain, explained the purpose of these awards and congratulated the winners.

In addition, Miguel Alcantud Rubio, disabled musician, won an award for improvement throughout life, with the help of Ascension Hernandez Garcia, President of the Sports Federation for the Physically Disabled in the Region of Murcia, for thereupon interpret a piece of music on the harp.

There was also a recognition to the institutions represented at the event, as well as cooperating sponsors, ending the act with the Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega, responsible for closing the show.

Given the success of this first gala, he is already working on the preparation of a second gala next year.
