The students of the first workshop organized by the Department of Social Services to show how to bring higher feed properly, Tuesday collected their diplomas from the mayor of Social Services during the closing ceremony held at the Palace Hall

Thirty students of the first course of Food Right, organized by the Department of Social Services of the City of Cartagena in its program for the elderly, attended Tuesday the closing ceremony and presentation of diplomas which was held in the Ceremonial Hall Palace Hall, and he has chaired the mayor of the area, Antonio Calderon.

Among the contents that have been discussed in this workshop include basic notions of nutrition, metabolism, welfare, antioxidants, calcium, diet, exercise and the importance of water for our body.

The course aims to give the keys to a healthy diet according to the specific needs of people in old age, some keys that are beneficial for both the elderly themselves and for those around them, such as grandchildren, that often are run by grandparents, Calderon noted.
