Course on conservation and enhancement of heritage (04/05/2015)

The Roman Theatre Museum has organized in collaboration with the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) CONSERVACIÃ a course on "N, ENHANCEMENT AND USE OF HISTORICAL HERITAGE" RICO: BUILDINGS, MUSEUMS AND PARKS ARQUEOLÃ "logical, to be held in the hall of the Museum from 13 to July 15, 2015.

The cultural heritage in contemporary society stands as testimony to a past whose knowledge humanizes us, but also commits us to maintain, safeguard and provide a compatible use for conservation.

It will reflect on ways to protect this heritage and conservation issues, value and public use of it in the course.

For it approached from the restoration and rehabilitation of historic heritage with examples of Valencia, Cartagena and Lorca, and the preservation "in situ" of monuments and archaeological sites.

They require a real effort and commitment not only management but also of collaboration between specialists of many diverse disciplines.

Similarly, their public presentation and dissemination of knowledge is a complex and dynamic process in constant evolution, which involves special attention to keep abreast of new jobs and experiences.

Therefore different examples of integrated models of management, conservation and museological, Case Pinwheel Archaeological Park in Cartagena, La Bastida de Totana, the heritage and the Yecla or the new Naval Museum will also be presented in the course.
