The City of Cartagena has published Monday March 30 in the Official Gazette of the Region of Murcia call for awarding grants to neighborhood associations and party committees formally constituted, for the annual organization and conduct of the festivities and celebrations most representative and accepted in different neighborhoods and towns in the councils of the municipality popular.
The amount of these grants this year amounted to 85,000 euros, as above, and after publication of the notice in the BORM, stakeholders have an application deadline of 20 calendar days, ie until April 20, to present all attachments and supporting documentation in the General Register of the Administration Building on Calle San Miguel.
To study the projects presented a Commission for Evaluation of Applications, which will be chaired by the Councillor of Celebration, Florentina Garcia Vargas is established.
The aspects to be taken into account when assessing applications will be the interest within the field of Festivities, traditions and sociocultural relevance, correct anticipation of planned activities, impact and scope in terms of beneficiaries of the activities and other aspects of interest appreciated by the Evaluation Commission.
The grant payment will be made ​​upon justification by the beneficiary of the activities, justification must be made ​​before the Municipal Intervention.
The maximum period of resolution and notification will be 3 months from the publication of the call today March 30.
