The military Church of Santo Domingo welcomed on Friday the Solemn Mass of the Brotherhood of Christ of Socorro, the main liturgical act of the brotherhood during Lent.
True, procesionistas, brothers and local representatives of civil and military establishments of the city attended the parish of Main Street to join the Mass presided by the image of Christ of Socorro, where the altar for the occasion.
There they received the Brother of the Brotherhood, Manuel Martínez Guillén, and the chaplain Gomariz Lazarus was asked to officiate the Mass, which also featured the voices of Mass Coral Tomás Luis de Victoria.
The ceremony was attended by the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, the mayor of Culture, Rosario Montero, President of the Regional Assembly, Francisco Celdrán, and the rector of the UPCT, José Antonio Franco, among others.
