On the occasion of the festival of San José 2015, took place this morning vehicle competition jet in which participated two teams formed by students of the Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT).
With four seconds, was proclaimed winner in the two tests of the competition the team Bernouille & co, not far from the 4.42 seconds of the second team, Pressure, despite the technical problems experienced before launch.
THE competition consisted of two sections that have been assessed on the one hand, the speed and, secondly, the technical development of the vehicle, quality and technical complexity.
Wheeled vehicles had to be propelled by fluid jet (gas or liquid), autonomously generated by pressurized fluid accumulation or other means other than the combustion of a solid, liquid or gaseous fuel.
New this year, has created an association of prototypes for future editions to be held the next festivities, in order to help participants and promote participation in the contest.
This technological competition is part of 'Challenges San José 2015' which summons the direction of the School of Industrial Engineering to encourage college and pre-college students, the love of technology, engineering, desire to improve and improvement and teamwork.
