The School of Public Safety of the City of Cartagena (SPACE) held during the months of March and April 4 editions Course on First Aid: CPR and use of semi-automatic external defibrillator, to complement the training last days r ealizada staff Template CCGT Cartagena Company Gas Natural Fenosa, Safety in confined prior to a simulation aimed at staff of that company courses spaces.
On 3 and 4 March is celebrated in the ESPAC the first course, the second edition will be on 10 and 11 March, the third, on 17 and 18 March, and the fourth on 7 and 8 April.
Use of Semiautomatic External Defibrillator (AED) aims to reduce mortality and sequelae that cause cardiac arrest, disseminate techniques Basic Life Support among ancillary personnel in accordance with the recommendations of the European Resuscitation Council, contribute to promote strategies aimed at early defibrillation in response to cardiac arrest and facilitate the integration of the different agents involved in the chain of survival.
Among the subjects taught are the following:
Introduction to CPR.
Basic Life Support (BLS).
Practice Basic Life Support (BLS).
Semi-Automatic External Defibrillation (AED).
Plan to survive a heart attack.
The course will be taught by approved by the Directorate General of Public Health of the Ministry of Health of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia medical personnel.
