The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) will host the month of May 1st International Congress of Applied Mathematics, in which researchers from around the world will be updated on the progress in the field of nonlinearity and complexity.
Organized by the research group UPCT in Dynamical Systems Applied to Engineering, led by Professor Juan Luis García Guirao, the 'International Conference on Nonlinear Dynamics and Complexity' will be held at La Manga and hopes to bring together more than one hundred attendees cicuenta .
"The list of plenary speakers and guests reflects the enormous importance of this scientific event, being represented some of the best specialists in the field as James A.Yorke, University of Maryland, in the United States and considered the father of Chaos Theory "explains Garcia Guirao.
Nonlinear differential equations and their applications;
Nonlinear dynamics of problems arising from the engineer;
Discontinuous dynamical systems and control;
Synchronization and control of chaos;
Neuronal and brain dynamics;
Social dynamics and complexity;
Discrete and continuous dynamical systems and analysis of neural signals are the different themes that address the conclave of research mathematicians.
An indicator of the importance of the event is to be posting regular issues of the journal International Journal of Bifurcation and Chaos (IJBC), JCR 2013: 1017 and Nonlinear Dynamics, JCR 2013: 2419, with the most relevant contributions discussed during the conference .
