The XXXIII edition Procesionista Year Award Award is warming up and while still being submitted nominations, the president of the association that organizes the event, Santiago Diaz Izquierdo, has already announced that on February 16, will be released Procesionista name of the Year 2015.
Thus they have informed the Mayor, Pilar Barreiro, during the meeting that Diaz Izquierdo, along with members of its management, today held Tuesday with the first municipal authority, which have also commented on the cultural, social and religious activities will be developed around the award.
The meeting was also attended by the Councillor for Culture, Rosario Montero.
As explained Santiago Diaz Izquierdo, on Monday February 16 will meet at noon the jury to decide between the candidates that are still presenting and early in the afternoon, will be released chosen.
The following Saturday, a mass of imposing the Medal of Procesionista and March 20 will take place trophy ceremony at the Palace Hall will be held.
With respect to parallel cultural activities, Antonio Calvo, member of the board of the Association of the Year Procesionista, identified two conferences will be held in February, one on Jesus of Medina and another on Charity.
