Today Wednesday took place at the Municipal Sports Pavilion Wssel phase Guimbarda municipal Playing Athletics youngest category, framed in Program School Age Sport organized by the Department of Sports City of Cartagena in collaboration with the Directorate General Youth and Sports of the Region of Murcia.
260 schoolchildren in the municipality of twenty schools in the municipality (five more than last year centers) have gathered this year with teams in male and female form.
Participating schools were La Encarnación, San Antonio Abad, Macher Salesians Virgen de Begoña, Stella Maris, Santa Florentina, San Francisco Javier, Miralmonte, San Cristóbal, the trough, San Isidro, Vicente Ros, poet Antonio Oliver, Virgin del Carmen, Ciudad Jardín, Mastia, Feliciano Sanchez, Virginia Pérez, San Isidoro, Narwhal, Hasdrubal, Azorin, Luis Calandre, Sacred Heart and San Felix.
The Sports Council in collaboration with the Athletics Federation of Murcia, Club Athletics Club Athletics Cano and Cartagena have coordinated a device composed of experts from the Department of Sports, Athletics judges, volunteers and UCAM the TAFAD and buses for travel of participants and teachers as well as the healthcare support of Sports Medicine Center of the City of Cartagena.
The tests consisted of: 10x10 race, jumping rope, triple jump from standstill, release the ball from sitting, launching a soft javelin relay: 5x1 and 5x2 (grand prix).
The activity began at 10 am and ended about 12:30 pm with the awards ceremony which was attended by the Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega.
