On Sunday December 14th I celebrated Return to Cartagena for Solidarity, event organized by the Sports Club Primi sport with the assistance of the City, GeDeporte and several companies and organizations in the city, with proceeds going to the Red Cross.
The Councillor for Sports, Diego Ortega, together with the President of the Assembly of Cartagena Red Cross, Gabriel Ruiz, Isidoro Martinez, Primi Sport, and a representative of GeDeporte, today presented this solidarity march which is included within the activities are being held to mark the tenth anniversary of CD Primi sport.
The dorsal to participate can be purchased for 2 euros and a kilo of food, so that in addition to the financial contribution, to be allocated to social programs Red Cross will also be a collection of food that the entity apportioned among the most needy, explained Ruiz.
Several outlets and collection of numbers, one in the Central Pavilion Wssell Guimbarda will become, and the same day of testing at the start, will be in the Parque de la Rosa.
The route of 7.5 kilometers, will start at 10am and end of that park, about 13.00 pm in the Plaza del Ayuntamiento, through the Greenway Avenue Victor Beltrí, Jorge Juan, Alameda San Anton and conducting a walk around the streets of the old town.
As highlighted by the mayor Diego Ortega, is a solidarity march not a cross nor a competitive test, go on sidewalks and crosswalks will cross, whereby a special traffic regulation is not necessary. On the hand, Isidoro Martinez stressed the solidarity and charitable nature of the initiative, which has invited to all citizens.
