Tourism and fishing cofraternizan Saturday at the Roman Theater (20/11/2014)

PescaSos continue project activities, the Columbares Association to promote artisanal fisheries, to diversify its economy and promote cooperation between scientists and industry professionals. The Roman Theatre Museum hosts this Saturday, 22 Days-Fishing Tourism : an opportunity for the Mediterranean coast.

The initiative proposes a meeting place initiatives to meet future challenges and to develop complementary to commercial fishing activities and generate new opportunities for marine tourism on the coast.

During the conference the regulatory framework affecting these activities and various successful experiences in other regions are displayed will be analyzed.

The sessions are aimed at, and the general public fishing professionals and technicians government tourism stakeholders in the implementation of tourism activities related to fishing.

Attendance is free and is financed by the European Fisheries Fund, but require pre-registration until November 21, sending an email to pescasos.murcia@columbares.org with the following information: name, ID number, telephone and email contact.

All participants will receive a certificate of attendance.

Free Fishing Days Columbares-tourism Association gives the finishing touches to PescaSos project, whose career has seen him go Mazarrón, Mojacar, Garrucha, Pulpí, he Eagles, Cabo de Palos, Carboneras, San Pedro del Pinatar, San José Nijar and Cartagena with different activities on artisanal fisheries and Marine Reserve of Cabo de Palos-Islas Ants and Cabo de Gata-Nijar performed in spaces grocery stores, fishmongers, boardwalks, hotels and restaurants.

So far in the project activities involving more than 12,000 people.

Until its completion in December this year, the project will continue to PescaSos other performances of interest as a forum for participation and the documentary Back to the Future. PescaSos is an initiative of the Association Columbares, financed by the European Fisheries Fund and the Biodiversity Foundation , the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Environment, which has the support of the City of Cartagena and Murcia University.
