The Polytechnic University of Cartagena (UPCT) on Thursday a host Open Day as part of the "Professional Digital" program.
This initiative, launched by the Ministry of Industry, through the public company Red.es and the Conference of Rectors of Spanish Universities (CRUE), is designed to boost the domestic industry of Contents Digital by training future professionals and promoting collaboration between universities and companies.
The institution will be opened by the ICT, Juan Luis Pedroza then rector to make way for the presentation of training courses and projects in digital content, from the director of the School of Building Engineering, Antonio Garrido, Professor Department of Naval Technology, Leandro Ruiz, Professor Department of Applied Physics, Jose Abad and Professor Department of Graphic Expression, Cavas Francisco.
Then Professor Applied Mathematics and Statistics Department, Juan Medina, and Professor Quantitative Methods and Computer Science Department, Fernando Lopez, conducted the presentation on MOOC and m-learning.
Subsequently, the Chair of Entrepreneurship and Director Creating EBTs, Domingo Garcia, Professor Department of Information Technology and Communications, John Monzo, the crowdfunding Manager of Micro-Inverters, Eva Gómez, and Director of Business Development and responsible CITEC of MENTOR, Noel Muniz will present funding lines to support the venture.
After a brief pause, cases of successful charge of Support Services Technology Research, Dolores Ojados, will show the UPCT alumnus, David Lopez, the company representative social Bee, Cristina Alcázar and the Delegate Company Webpositer, Iñaki Tovar.
Before the closure, the ICT rector, Juan Luis Pedroza, and the head center Production of Digital Content, Manuel Abrisqueta, present infrastructure and made a tour of the center of production of Digital Content.
