Cartagena Firefighters rescue a dog from a mine shaft The Union (06/11/2014)

Effective Fire Station City of Cartagena yesterday afternoon rescued a dog that had been thrown by a person within an old mine shaft of La Union.

Firefighters rushed to the scene located in the hamlet of Pandero about 15:30 pm, following a warning from the Emergency Coordination Center of the Autonomous Community.

To rescue the animal that was alive at 22 meters deep, it was necessary to mount a tripod, as the pit walls had peeling danger.

One of the firemen desdendió far as the dog, which was later brought to the surface and delivered to an animal shelter in the town, who took charge of it was.
