The works for Sebastian Feringa, consisting of partial replacement of Alums Tentegorra-driving and improving access to facilities in Tentegorra, and continue as scheduled this summer, from June and 11 months of implementation.

The project, located in phase 1 and 2, connect the Cartagena area west of this great avenue of access as well today explained the mayor, Pilar Barreiro.

The first mayor, by the Councillor for Infrastructure, Francisco Espejo, and the president and vice president of the Commonwealth of Channels Taibilla, Adolfo and Carlos Gallardo Conradi, this morning visited the works, in the section between the bed of the Rambla de Benipila and Tentegorra Avenue.

The project, which was awarded by 2,177,058 euros Sarrión Construcciones SL, and held between the Commonwealth, with the cooperation of the City of Cartagena, involve the renewal of different piping and water supply services, sanitation and rainwater.

Another work of this project is the construction of a roundabout at the junction of Eroski shopping center and

aims to improve fluency in a way of a significant amount of traffic, the mayor clarified today.

By the City, the pipes for sanitation will be provided, worth 200,000 euros, in addition to land not owned by the MCT.

The project is developed in 4-step approach to creating temporary lane roundabouts and road traffic, allowing the flow of traffic and pedestrians in the outer zones and avoid the least possible inconvenience to the city, the mayor added.

PROJECT PHASES

• Stage 0 (PREVIOUS WORK) began June 30 and lasted 15 days.

Comprises the area between Calle Cyclamen and Avda. Canton, consisting of the placement of signage works, demolition, and removal of existing clearances elements, generation of road width for circulation, adequacy of storage area and commissioning of roundabout provisional Peroniño Street intersects.

• Stage 1: was beginning July 17 and is expected to last six months, includes the stretch between Cyclamen Street to Calle Street Peroniño Peroniño and from Canton to Avda..

Involves the placement of buoys and fenders elements, commissioning work roundabout intersecting Peroniño Street, recess and excavation of the esplanade, restitution affected service, for deep lines and connecting the projected roundabout MCT services Peroniño Street.

• Stage 2: It began on October 13 and is expected to last for 3-5 months.

The phase includes the stretch between Avda. Canton and Rambla de Benipila, consisting in placing elements buoys and fenders, the recess and excavation of the Esplanade, the restoration of affected services for deep pipeline, running provisional roundabout intersection with Av. Canton and connecting those projected in Rambla de Benipila services.

• Stage 3: is scheduled to begin in January 2015 and its estimated duration is six months.

The phase includes all paving and urbanization from MCT roundabout in Cyclamen Street until Benipila Rambla, as well as the interconnections of pipes from the previous phases.
