A new Ebara Cabezo Beaza relieve collector Paseo de Alfonso XIII and save energy (16/10/2014)

The construction of a pumping station sewage (Ebara) in the first phase of the Industrial Cabezo Beaza ease the flow collector Paseo de Alfonso XIII in town and save electricity, as explained sources of the Department of Planning and Infrastructure of the City of Cartagena, in charge of drafting the project, the Ministry of Agriculture and Water of the Autonomous Community has brought to public tender.

According to the project report, currently the waste water from the first phase of the Industrial Cabezo Beaza run by gravity through a pipe concrete 300 mm in diameter which is in very poor condition explains, suffering continuous breaks along its route.

In addition, said collector drains into the Paseo Alfonso XIII making industrial wastewater to cross throughout the city to reach the Ebara Plaza Spain, where they are again elevated to the treatment of Cabezo Beaza.

In this way the water travels 3.6 kilometers of pipelines by gravity and 6 kilometers of drives, which carry significant power consumption.

The project proposes to collect wastewater from Phase I of the industrial estate Cabezo Beaza by building a new Ebara, located in Calle Berlin, to send to the Ebara, existing Phase II, which in turn will drive the treatment plant Cabezo Beaza.
