The Youth Guarantee Ireland project reaches Cartagena (10/10/2014)

Projects Youth Guarantee Cartagena and Ballymun, Dublin, reunite these days is that our city received Thursday and Friday visiting Irish technicians responsible driver.

The project is part of Ballymun, next to Cartagena, one of the 18 selected pilot initiatives by the European Commission throughout the European Union to try new methodologies to address the issue of youth unemployment.

Designed for young people aged 16 to 24 to have access to good jobs, internships or training within a maximum period of 4 months from the completion of their studies or become unemployed.

In the case of Cartagena is the Agency of Local Development and Employment (ALDE), the City, in charge of developing the pilot project, which received the Irish delegation of Vincent Hegarty (Ministry of Social Protection), Mick Creedon (Office Ballymun Job), Christine Lodge (Managing Youth Resource Centre Ballymun) and Mary Murphy (Managing Finglas Training Centre).

Thursday Youth Councillor, Ruth Collins, along with technical project managers in Cartagena, met with Dublin in a pooling of these programs in both cities.

This Friday also held a meeting with the guidance of Youth Guarantee Cartagena.

Also used their visit to know the most emblematic places of the city such as the Town Hall and the Museum of the Roman Theatre.
