"No asphalt, no sidewalks, no hits in the XXI century" (14/08/2014)

The village of Quarry Diaz is in an unfortunate situation, while the City of Cartagena and the Autonomous Region have used the boom years in investment bets and totally nonsensical marketing, there are still villages in our town with infrastructure nineteenth century.

So the 253 registered inhabitants in Quarry Diaz live in a situation of abandonment by the PP government team.

Unpaved streets, no sidewalks, dirt, weeds and lack of lighting is the picture that these neighbors contemplate daily living 6 km from Cartagena.

In the absence of this neglect sewer so that homes are connected to septic tanks adds.

The neighbors are fed up with this situation, do not understand the municipal neglect.

The road between Diaz and Gracious is in a deteriorating situation and lack of security that has already caused several traffic accidents.

Special mention deserves the status of the bridge over the ravine of Diaz, which is the only access to the town, and urgently needs a refurbishment to ensure the safety and isolation experienced by neighbors every time it rains.

From SPCT we demand that the PP government is dedicated to prioritize investments to ensure essential services and especially to treat citizens of Cartagena equally, instead of wasting taxpayer money on monumental works costing shooting in proportions unpresentable.
