The Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS), through the Directorate General of Seniors, plans to extend the current concert seats 67 in the Virgin residence del Mar Cartagena, managed by the Messengers of Peace Association, to continue serving older people.
This announcement was made by the Managing Director of IMAS, Leopoldo Navarro, with the director general of Older IMAS, Enrique Perez, during his recent visit to the Virgen de Mar del Mar residence to mark the work of expansion of 40 new pitches older and adapting its 2,000 square meters of outdoor gardens and leisure areas.
At present, this complex comprises a total of 120 accredited squares of the IMAS has arranged 67 to late August, so it will be in early September when you proceed to the extension of this show until November 30 , 2015.
Thus, to ensure these 67 places for older people, the IMAS allocate a total of 1,127,360 euros with the aim of providing access to a residential square to anyone whose personal or family circumstances so require.
The center offers its users a comprehensive and specialized service because it has Nursing and Occupational Therapy, among others, for seniors to maintain their current level of autonomy and to prevent situations of physical and mental deterioration capable of enhancing those skills recovery.
