The water bill will drop next year to families and SMEs (18/07/2014)

The water bill will be cheaper next year thanks to increased consumption of the Repsol refinery, according to the mayor announced Friday, Pilar Barreiro, after the meeting of the Governing Board year.

Such reduction shall be applied in priority to the common sections of domestic consumption to benefit most families and rates necessary to avoid penalizing consumption in the retail, hospitality and small and medium empres to be changed.

The mayor explained that the technical estimate over 2 million increase in income, the consumption of new facilities provide Repsol steadily each year.

This increase reduces the fixed costs that users are divided in their bills.
