A civil engineer UPCT gets a grant from the Villar Mir Foundation to do an MA in Wharton School of Economy (15/07/2014)

The vice president of the alumni association of the School of Civil Engineering and Mines UPCT, Juan Alfonso Antonio Vicente, today received in Madrid Fellowship Villar Mir Foundation, with an endowment of $ 200,000 to study an MBA in Philadelphia , Wharton School of Economy, regarded as the best business school in the world.

Juan Antonio Vicente, who won the national award in final year Civil Engineering, Engineer of Roads, Channels and Ports and studied Public Works Engineering at the Polytechnic University of Cartagena.

Last year he left the presidency of the association to move to Saudi Arabia where he works in the underground building works FCC.

The director of the School of Civil and Mining UPCT Manuel Alcaraz, expressed his great satisfaction that a student of this school has achieved this national distinction, valued by leading professionals in Engineering in Civil and Ports Spain.
