Cartagena leads the drop in unemployment in the region (02/07/2014)

The numbers of unemployed in Cartagena in June fell by nearly 900 people, namely 896, a fact that shows that it is consolidating from the crisis and job creation, according to this morning said the mayor, Pilar Barreiro.

With these figures, the town leads the drop in unemployment in the region, where 6 out of 10 people who left unemployment, they did in Cartagena.

Barreiro believes that this does not allow us to be neither satisfied nor anyone can put medals, but it does reflect a consolidated change is the result of labor market reforms promoted by the Government.

The mayor points out that although it is true that June is usually good for the summer season, it is also true that this June was much better because there have been more than 2,100 contracts in June and 251 fewer unemployed in that month.

UNEMPLOYED 2,200 LESS

Pilar Barreiro has reiterated that to assess the labor market is essential to study the trends and the trend in Spain and especially in Cartagena, is good.

This year represents a decline of 10.4%, well above the national average of 6.6%.

LESS JÃ "YOUNG UNEMPLOYED
